UCL has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic communications-focussed administrator to support the UCL Energy Institute with a range of communications and administration duties.

They will be responsible for the Institute’s communications, including its website, social media, drafting printed materials and events. The post holder will provide personal assistance to the Institute’s Deputy Director.

Although focussing on the Energy Institute, the Institute Administrator will benefit from being part of the wider team of professional services staff within the School and will be expected to work collaboratively with other colleagues, particularly on events.

Our ideal candidate is expected to be educated to 'A' level or equivalent, or have equivalent experience, (university level or with equivalent experience is desirable) and have a strong interest in university administration. They will have excellent communications skills, experience with using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign professionally, and PA experience.

In addition, the role holder must have strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build positive working relationships. Importantly, they will need to be a committed member of the Professional Services Team and balance this requirement with working effectively individually.
