The Social Mobility Foundation is a small, high-profile charity based in the City of London. We help young people from low-income backgrounds enter universities and professions through programmes of mentoring, internships, university application support and skills development. We are supported by over 200 employers across 11 different professions and by a board of high-profile trustees drawn from across the professions.

We are looking for an Intern Administrator to join our London office for 6 months.

Overview
The intern administrator is responsible for undertaking a variety of administrative tasks to support the work of the Social Mobility Foundation. The role supports the delivery of activities to all young people on SMF programmes.

The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Good experience of using Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Experience of working on small projects
• Be well-organised and able to work well under pressure
• Be hard-working and efficient
• Personable and able to adapt their style of communication when switching from liaison with young people to employers

Reporting line: Senior Programme Coordinator.
35 hours per week. 
Working hours: 9.30am – 5.30pm at SMF office in City of London.
