Ed Miliband seeks a senior researcher to work with him on issues around inequality.
The job is for up to one year to work with him on his proposals and ideas around inequality.
The successful candidate should have a background in project management and development as well as strategic planning, campaigning and stakeholder management. An academic background around inequality is less important than practical experience of working around these or related issues. Parliamentary and Westminster experience not essential and experience of working in charitable and voluntary sector welcome.
Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
