In the Events Support Internship, you’ll be helping to plan, organise and run the Greenpeace presence at festivals throughout the summer – including producing and delivering a complete logistical event plan for Glastonbury, with support from the Events Team

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a dedicated Events Support Intern to support our Events Team with the planning, organising and running of the Greenpeace site at festivals throughout the summer. You’ll be working closely with the Events Team and Logistical staff, who will provide you with support and guidance throughout your internship. This role will see you spend much of your time away from your desk, either at festival sites, in our Warehouse or out and about on site visits.

The intern will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support for the Events Team through this busy period over the summer. You’ll become a key member of the team, taking on projects which will allow you to be part of planning Greenpeace’s presence at some of the most iconic and exciting festivals from start to finish.

We can help you build on your existing skills with relevant training for the role as required. This could include project management training, IT skills, first aid at work and trailer driving. In addition you will have access to the comprehensive organisational learning and development programme, which is available to all Greenpeace staff. 

Duration: Fixed-term 6 months/full-time (37.5 hours per week) starting mid April 2017.
