An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Targeting Analyst to join the Contact Creator, Targeting, and Analysis team at Labour’s head office in London, helping to focus Labour’s election organisation and campaigning on the people and places we need to win. The post holder will support the work of the party in the analysis of demography, elections and campaigning, the production of strategies to target key voters, and the measurement and reporting of campaign progress and campaign effects, working with a range of standard database products and statistical tools as well as Contact Creator, the Party’s bespoke national voter database.
The successful candidate will have either academic understanding or practical knowledge of how political, commercial, or charitable organisations use prospect targeting and analysis of large datasets to improve and refine their targeting, and a strong understanding of the suitability of different statistical modelling techniques for different purposes. They will also have very strong general quantitative analysis skills and a proven track record of using statistical programming environments such as R to deliver insight into the relationships between complex variables. The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Please note this is a fixed term contract until 31st May 2020 or 1 month after the next general election, whichever is sooner.
