Job Details

Working Chance is an award-winning UK charity creating a revolution in recruitment. Founded in 2007, Working Chance supports women with criminal convictions and women care leavers to find quality work with mainstream employers.

We always have opportunities for individuals to volunteer in our busy office in Angel.

Our office has a number of opportunities for bright and keen people to gain some first-hand experience of working in a charity.

We are specifically in need of people to help us with our fundraising. Things you might be involved in would include:

  • Desk based research to identify possible trusts and foundations for Working Chance to apply for
  • Helping to write funding applications
  • Helping around the office with administration tasks such as picking up the phone and taking messages through to helping us manage an event with our candidates and corporate partners

However, if you have other skills to offer, please outline these in your covering letter along with an idea of how much time you have to volunteer each week.

We are ideally looking for someone who could volunteer around 2-3 days/week over the next 3-6 months, but this is flexible and can be adapted to suit the candidate’s existing studies or other commitments.

In return, you will gain experience within a really interesting office environment which is supporting women ex-offenders and women care leavers into sustained employment.

W4MP Note:
The role being advertised is a voluntary one. As such, there are no set hours and responsibilities and you should be free to come and go as you wish.
