We are looking for a Public Affairs Officer to join a dynamic and highly successful team, which has achieved real change for disabled people, to help deliver our political influencing.

About the role
You will work closely with colleagues in the Policy and Research Department and across the organisation to help devise and deliver innovative public affairs strategies, strengthen our relationships with parliamentarians and officials, and build our strategic partnerships within government and beyond.

About you
With a proven track record of political influence and public policy change, you will be an effective communicator and network builder. You will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and build alliances and partnerships to influence decision makers. Creative, innovative and inclusive, you’ll find satisfaction in working with pace, creating and capitalising on opportunities and being at the heart of an organisation that is passionate about social change.

We want to change society for the better and a key way we do that is through policy ideas and solutions. Our findings, proposals and recommendations have influenced stakeholders at the highest levels. We have a huge opportunity to improve disabled people’s living standards.
