Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner is looking to strengthen his team to deliver the new police and crime plan for Lancashire. Stakeholder engagement, promoting commissioned services and behaviour change marketing campaigns are a key part of the office’s delivery.
About the Role
This brand-new role will work with the wider team to help engage with the county’s 16 MPs, County, 2 unitary and 14 district councils as well as many town and parish councils. It will also support the Commissioner in his national role as APCC lead for Governance and Devolution.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role, be politically aware and understand the Commissioner’s role in a local and national context. A knowledge of national and local government structures and policing policy issues will be beneficial.
The role is politically restricted and subject to police vetting.
