Are you an experienced media officer, dedicated to making a difference to the voluntary sector? We’re looking for an excellent communicator confident in working with senior leaders. We’re the representative body for charities and volunteering across England, which means all the big issues in the voluntary sector and beyond will cross your desk – whether that’s governance, fundraising or Brexit.

You'll have a strong news sense, excellent judgement, instinctive political sensitivity and will write engagingly on a wide range of topics. You’ll be as comfortable working on a complex policy issue or dealing with a reputational matter as you are working on a consumer-facing campaign to promote volunteering. And you’ll be a natural team player, eager to get involved across the organisation and support others on their work.

Note: this role is fixed-term in order to cover interim staff changes within our external relations unit.
