The Policy and Public Affairs team at the NSPCC is looking for a new Policy and Public Affairs Officer. This role involves leading on the development of new policy positions and the delivery of external public affairs activities. Our Policy and Public Affairs Officer is responsible for managing consultations, managing the development of new policy positions, leading on legislative influencing, as well as analysing the advising on the impact of developments within the field of child protection.

You will be confident in drawing conclusions and presenting your recommendations to a variety of audiences. Excellent written and oral communication skills are vital for this role, as is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Finally, you will need to be skilled in developing strong networks with parliamentarians, civil servants and colleagues within the third sector.
