Are you an enthusiastic and persuasive advocate who will be a passionate and effective champion for the change nature needs? Are you passionate about protecting nature and wildlife during a period of political evolution? If yes, then we want to hear from you.

We are looking for a politically-savvy leader for our advocacy work at a pivotal time of political change, during which the implications for nature conservation are still unclear and shifting rapidly. You will lead our vital work with the political sector in Wales, seeking to create opportunities to influence political audiences to protect and enhance the natural environment. In parallel, you will work with colleagues across the UK to ensure the interests of the Welsh countryside, seas and wildlife are secured during the Brexit negotiations. You will work in partnership with other environmental charities in Wales to secure the best political, policy and legislative outcomes for nature.  

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Advocate, but we reserve the right to appoint at a less senior level depending on candidates’ skills, qualifications and experience (the relevant role profile can be supplied on request). Note: this is a maternity cover post.
