With 135 members and offices in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh, it promotes the strength and success of UK universities nationally and internationally.
Following changes in the Operations Group having worked through a Business Improvement Programme over the last year, we are now looking for a Head of Human Resources to join the team. This role will be responsible for the leadership and management of the human resources function, supported by an administrator and officer. There are around 140 staff employed in UUK and the associated organisations in the group. This post will be based in the London office, but will require visits to colleagues in Edinburgh and Cardiff.
The successful candidate will be a chartered member of the CIPD or have equivalent experience and need to be a confident communicator, able to deliver clear messages to a variety of audiences. The successful candidate will be a good generalist HR practitioner, and this could be your first Head of HR role if you are looking for the next step in your career. There is clear scope in this role to shape the future of the HR function for UUK.
This post is advertised at full time, 35 hours per week, consideration will be given to this post being fulfilled on a part-time 0.8fte basis.
