In this pivotal position, you will help raise our profile and extend our influence through high quality engineering policy advice. You will contribute to the way we think and work, building effective networks right across engineering, science, policy and beyond.

Alongside a good degree in an engineering, scientific or analytical discipline, you will bring sound professional experience in policy-focused roles. This will have given you understanding of policy development and the functioning of Parliament and government, as well as the broader context in which engineering operates. A background in an engineering or scientific body would naturally be useful but, more importantly, you will bring plenty of initiative, proven ability to meet deadlines and very high level of analytical, writing and presentation skills.
