Job Details

Interesting things are happening right now at Chelgate, and we are looking for one, perhaps two, quite special people to be part of all that's happening.

First, we are looking for high intelligence.  This will probably (though not always) be reflected in your academic qualifications.  If it's not, we'll need to understand why.

Second, we need exceptional English language communications skills, spoken and written. We won't settle just for a decent level of literacy.  We're looking for the exceptional.  And if English is not your mother tongue, our requirement will be no less stringent.  Good written and spoken English just won't be enough. The bar is set at "exceptional". If those skills have involved working in or with the media, that might be an added advantage.

Third is relevant experience.  Here we absolutely require real and significant experience working in Westminster.  A love of politics, university studies, or a real interest in Government, without that specific experience, simply won't be enough.  Agency experience would also be an attractive attribute, but on its own just would not be enough either.

Check www.chelgate.com for more information about Chelgate.  We're an unusual firm. Issues management, public affairs, reputation protection, media relations, crisis management, international relations all have their role to play.  But in every case, we expect to be the best at what we do, and that means finding the best to join our team.

Now we are looking at a couple of possible positions here.  One more senior.  One less so.

Closing Date: 7 April 2017

Interview/Start Dates

If we find the right person before the closing date, we'll not wait for that date to make an offer.
