Our client is a social enterprise, devoted to building competitive advantage for industry and the people who work in it.
Our client is looking to recruit a Policy Advisor to work within a high performing team. This role includes responsibility for working collaboratively to develop and showcase a programme of public policy to key external audiences. You will work as part of the Policy and Government Relations team to shape policy around the skills agenda, while also providing insight to develop our strategy and keep us at the centre of debate around technical and professional education.
Essential skills:
• Experience in leading the development of innovative public policy
• Adept at developing clear, consumable content through a range of media channels
• Solid track record on developing evidence based policy and recommendations
• Demonstrable experience of working effectively with senior stakeholders
• Experience of managing the production of dynamic reports, policy papers, briefings and presentations to support ‘thought leadership’ engagements.
• Experience of working with MPs and Ministers
