Are you a self-motivated marketer that can help us achieve challenging targets and drive awareness and usage through engaging content?

We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Member Benefits Officer to drive awareness and use of member benefits and maximise commercial opportunities through the management, generation and use of content.

The British Medical Association (BMA) is a professional association and independent trade union, representing doctors and medical students from all branches of medicine across the UK.

The BMA is a leading, influential voice on a wide range of issues affecting medicine and health, including significant changes to the health landscape and doctors' working lives. Essentials skills needed include:
-Minimum of 3-4 year's marketing/content experience
-Strong influencer, good at networking and developing relationships with stakeholders at all levels
-Ability to manage conflicting priorities and pressures effectively and clear understanding of when to refer upwards

Proven
-Experience of working in a digital environment, specifically in producing and/or editing content for email and web, preferably in a complex organisation and/or for a professional audience
-Copywriting skills, particularly in the area of product marketing
-Experience in producing high-quality, engaging digital content, ideally including information/guidance that can be used across a variety of communication channels
-Written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
-Understanding and experience of digital content software and applications such as content management systems and email platforms

Desirable
-Educated to a minimum of degree level with relevant professional qualification
-Good awareness of the opportunities arising from digital industry developments
-Experience of commissioning and/or producing multimedia content - e.g. podcasts/video and infographics
-Understanding of health-related issues and policy
