Free Word is an arts venue and producer focused on the power and politics of words. We explore the ways that words can change lives.

Head of Development

• Salary: £36,000 to £40,000 PA pro rata
• Hours: 0.8 of full time (28 hours net per week)

We’re looking for a passionate and committed fundraising professional to be responsible for our fundraising targets and supporter and funder relationships. You will be as ambitious for the arts and society as Free Word, with a love of fundraising and a flair for stakeholder management at senior level. You will have a track record of generating significant income across a variety of sources, including Trusts, Foundations, Corporate organisations and Individuals.

Interim Communications and Marketing Manager

• Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 pa (pro rata for 6 months’ contract)
• Hours: 28-35 hours net per week

You will be passionate about the ways in which marketing and communications can transform relationships with stakeholders and audiences and, as the person responsible for Free Word’s day-to day marketing and communications, skilled at implementing these.
