About NPC
NPC is recruiting for a senior consultant to work in the Funder Unit and a senior consultant to work in the Measurement and Evaluation unit to support organisations with evaluation practice. Our research and consulting work is highly regarded in the sector, and we work with a range of clients including charities of all sizes, grant-making trusts, corporates, government and philanthropists.

With a reputation for leadership through ideas as well as expertise in working practically with charities and funders, we publish research reports, thought pieces and practical guidance, and have helped numerous organisations and sectors improve their evaluation practice.

The role
This is an exciting opportunity if you have a passion for making the charity sector more effective. You will deliver research and consulting projects for charities and funders, and will also contribute to NPC’s wider thinking, profile and engagement in the sector.

The ideal candidates for both roles will have a graduate degree 2:1 (or equivalent) and will have gained relevant experience in a consulting or research role in professional services, public policy or the third sector. You will also be a good communicator and interested in supporting our business development and profile building, and be able to work flexibly and independently.

For the senior consultant role in the Measurement and Evaluation Unit you will have good social research, evaluation, data or digital skills.

For the senior consultant role in the Funder Unit you will need to have experience of working with grant-making trusts and foundations, philanthropists or corporate funders, and awareness of the trends in this area.

For the senior consultants role, at least four years’ relevant experience is required, as well as experience of managing large research, evaluation or consultancy projects.

Closing Date: 25 April 2017
