Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX) works to end human trafficking for labour exploitation in the UK and worldwide. FLEX’s unique approach to the problem of human trafficking is focussed on the prevention of labour rights abuses, the protection of the human rights of trafficked persons and the promotion of best practice responses to trafficking for labour exploitation.

We are seeking a full-time Project Officer, commencing in May 2017. Above all, we are looking for someone who is dedicated to FLEX’s vision and approach. The Project Officer will support FLEX’s project work across the organisation, and will be involved in all phases of project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting. The Project Officer will also assist in producing, disseminating and communicating FLEX’s project outputs, including through publications, social and traditional media. The post-holder will support FLEX’s senior staff in delivering work that is of a high standard and contributes towards achieving FLEX’s organisational objectives.

We are looking for someone who is organised, self-motivated and keen to be a key part of a small and dynamic team. You will have experience in working with a range of stakeholders to successfully deliver time-bound projects and initiatives, managing, monitoring and reporting on project activities and finances. You will also have experience in conducting research and communicating research findings to diverse audiences through clear and accessible reports and briefings. You will be able to work with minimal supervision and will be able to juggle priorities across a range of projects and organisational activities.
