Job Details

Grace Eyre is a small, effective and forward-thinking charity who are looking for a ‘can do’ individual to help them change lives for people in London, by shaping and leading a small team that interacts closely with the local community in Lambeth.

Job profile
If you're looking for the next step in your career and want to make a difference - we'd like to speak to you. We’re looking for an energetic person to lead the development of a service in Lambeth whose closest equivalent is the foster care model, but for adults.

Whether you’ve heard of the Shared Lives model before or not (www.sharedlivesplus.org.uk) – if you’re excited by the idea of leading a project that makes a real difference in vulnerable people’s lives, and think that you could bring that enthusiasm and commitment to championing a small team – working closely with Lambeth Council – then this is an ideal and fulfilling role.

  • We’ll ask you about your experience of leading projects and/or teams, with a specific focus on how you inspire and excite those around you, as well as gaining trust.
  • You'll be a self-motivated individual, able to guide a team to achieve agreed objectives and outcomes.
  • Ideally you'll have experience in the care sector - but it's most important that you're an excellent communicator with good people and networking skills, and the vision to have real impact.

The role will involve managing CQC inspections, as well as adhering to current legislation and CQC standards – a chance to shine! You'll also enjoy real job satisfaction, and be part of a charity with a long record of positive impact for people who use its services.
