Main duties and responsibilities
The Afghanistan & Central Asian Association is recruiting for an Educational Coordinator, to act as the main figurehead and lead our Supplementary School project for disadvantaged children from Afghan and BAME backgrounds. You will be the main point of contact.
The Educational Coordinator will be expected to work for 2 days per week organising the classes and monitoring and evaluating the project.
The classes will take place in Hounslow, Saturday afternoon (12 - 2pm). The Supplementary School will offer one-to-one homework support as well as classes in core National Curriculum KS1, KS2, KS3 and GSCE level subjects to marginalised and under-achieving young people in the area. There will also be the opportunity for Afghan students to learn Mother Tongue languages in Dari or Pashto.
Level of responsibility
The Educational Coordinator will have overall responsibility for delivering the outcomes of the ACAA Supplementary School project in Hounslow.
