Job Details

We are looking for an enthusiastic Policy Events Officer to work with us on a part-time basis (22.5 hours per week) for 6 months. We need someone with experience of planning successful, high impact events and with excellent organisational skills. You should be self-motivated but also able to work alongside the team and support their work where needed. Experience of delivering events in parliament or for a political audience is a bonus.

You’ll be joining a small but ambitious policy and public affairs team. We aim to punch above our weight to win the policy changes people with lung disease need. We have a series of events planned over this summer and autumn, and we need your help to make them a success.

Not only are we the only UK charity looking after the nation’s lungs but also a fantastic employer. We have recently been nationally recognised as a fantastic place to work after earning a place at no.35 in The Sunday Times Best 100 Not for Profit Organisations. This is a great achievement as only the organisations with the highest level of employee engagement qualify for the list.

We also offer a competitive salary, a range of excellent benefits including our cycle-to-work scheme, interest-free annual season Travelcard loan, 30 days annual leave (plus Bank Holidays), pension scheme and much more.

We are a great organisation and this is a chance to really make a significant difference to an underfunded disease that affects millions.

Closing Date: 26 April 2017

Interview/Start Dates

Interviews will be held at our London office, 73-75 Goswell Road, EC1V 7ER on 24 April 2017.
