Job Title: Project Manager - Speaker's Parliamentary Placement Scheme
Working For: The Creative Society
Salary: Your salary will be of £30,000 pa, £24,000 pro-rata.
The Creative Society manages the Speaker’s Parliamentary Placement scheme in collaboration with Diversity and Inclusion, House of Commons. You will be based at The Creative Society and employed by The Creative Society, but will work one day a week in the House of Commons with the Diversity and Inclusion team.
The Speaker’s Parliamentary Placement Scheme believes Parliament should be accessible to everyone. It is widening access by offering a 9 month paid placement to people who have the skills, passion and potential to work here but don’t have access to the traditional routes in. Project Manager Job Description
• Coordinate and deliver recruitment of Speaker’s Interns
• Deliver pastoral support to Speaker’s Interns
• Act as key liaison with MPs and their staff
• Lead on administration and finance tasks.
• Organise and deliver employability support and events
• Excellent mediator
• Proactive problem solver
• Experienced recruiter
• Organised self-starter
• Empathetic listener
• Confident and effective communicator
