We are currently looking to recruit a dynamic Senior Policy Officer, to be the specialist for the College on the issue of GP workforce, and lead the College’s relationship with various key stakeholder organisations : such as NHS England and Higher Education England - on the issue of workforce. This role is a great opportunity to influence policy on some the most important issues facing the UK’s health system today. The post holder will have the opportunity to build an impressive network across government, think tanks, academia and health professional bodies.

We are looking for a confident and driven professional policy engagement manager, with a proven ability to build bridges with a wide range of external organisations and foster strong, partnership working. You will have an impressive track record of excellent communications and have extensive experience of the way in which government NHS bodies work. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a strong knowledge of health policy issues. You will also be a self-starter and an exceptional completer-finisher.
