Job Details

Do you want to make a difference to the NHS and patient care by helping to shape some of the most progressive ideas to improve health outcomes and transform lives for patients?

We are looking for a client-facing communications and PR manager to join our team, to provide broad communications support on a regional and national level to our portfolio of clients including NHS and other public sector, health- and care-focused clients.

NEL Healthcare Consulting is the consultancy arm of NEL CSU, the largest CSU in the country, and our team of communications professionals is recognised for excellence; providing our clients with effective quality communications and engagement advice and support.

We cover areas as wide-ranging as planning and delivering complex reconfigurations and small-scale service changes, running and analysing public consultations. We support our clients on issues as varied as scientific medicine programmes, digital mental health and well-being, and social issues such as adoption and social care.

We are looking for someone who wants to blend the pace and energy of agency life with public service; someone who can work with a wide variety of our own consultants, communicators and subject matter experts, and be part of a team responsible for identifying new opportunities and providing clear, strategic and innovative advice to clients.

We offer flexible working conditions, an enthusiastic and friendly team and opportunities to learn and develop in a supportive environment. In return you should be adaptable and responsive, able to work independently in clients’ offices and as part of the team in our central London HQ.

If you are agile, energetic, creative, and above all interested in making life better for patients, we would like to hear from you. NHS experience not essential.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

Previous applicants need not apply.
