Job Title: Operations Manager

Purpose of job:

• Operational coordination of Solace contracted tasks, resources, and contractors to ensure the effective delivery of managed security solutions to company operations as directed.

Accountabilities and responsibilities:
• Intricate knowledge of Solace Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Incident /Emergency Procedures
• Maintaining a good working relationship with Client and respective portfolios
• Specified tasks as directed by Line Manager

Main Duties:
• Delivery of global operational support to Clients & contractors
• Liaison with Clients regarding security requirements, manage expectations, and deliver exemplary operational requirements in accordance with Operations Procedures
• Proactively develop and maintain a professional client relationship with Clients, whilst ensuring all contractually agreed responsibilities are delivered in accordance with operational timeframes
• Ensure operational records are completed correctly; to satisfy internal and external audits, critically export control regulations and restrictions.
• Ensure Company reputation, ethos and unrelenting pursuit of excellence is maintained to an impeccable standard by all
• Operate in line with all Solace policies and objectives
• Use judgement and experience to rectify issues that may arise
• Support commercial team as required – producing quotations, contracts (Guardcon) and tender documents
• Support to Solace Intelligence - background research and alerting in relation to identified areas of interest and data entry the Solace Global online risk management platform

Key Relationships:
• Commercial Director, Commercial Operations Manager, Commercial team, Accounts and Contractors

Required Skills and Experience:
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Ability to coordinate and prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment
• A proactive person with the ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent administration skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent computer skills, experience with MS Office critical
• Interest in current affairs

Other important features or requirements of the job:
• On call requirement in event of operational needs as directed
• On a rotational basis conduct weekend duties
• To deliver verbal briefings/presentations as required
