We are looking for a politically engaged individual to work primarily on creating digital content for a pro-Brexit pressure group based in Bristol. The successful candidate will be something of a news junkie, be comfortable using their initiative to produce satirical, engaging content for social media and be confident in writing copy for articles, blogs and social media posts. Our social media accounts reach an average of 10 million people a week and our audience have grown used to a certain satirical, anti-Establishment style.
They will have an interest in UK politics and be confident of Britain's future as we begin negotiations to withdraw from the European Union.
They will have experience in editing and creating video and be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Other desirable programs they will have experience in include Adobe Photoshop, Captivate and WordPress.
They will be available to work at weekends and on weekday evenings as and when the business requires (time off would be given in lieu in the week).
The successful candidate will enthusiastic, enjoy working in a small but busy team and possess an exceptional work ethic. The role is not for everyone - it can be challenging but extremely rewarding.
Daily duties:
- Video Editing (Premiere and After Effects)
- Video Recording
- Photoshop
- Customer Service (Responding to the inbox)
- Social Listening
- Write copy for social media/website
- Create concepts for social media posts - liaise with graphics to produce these posts
- Write articles for the website
- Wordpress (Preferred)
