An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen in Islamic Relief to work as the External Relations and Advocacy Manager in the UK Communications Department. The External Relations and Advocacy Manager will be responsible for developing an effective strategic plan to engage external stakeholders, forming and maintaining relationships in politics and wider society that serve Islamic Relief’s corporate relations and advocacy objectives. The role line manages two posts –Public Affairs Coordinator and Campaigns Coordinator- and will communicate complex and politically sensitive issues via effective and timely external engagement, to produce compelling campaigns on issues affecting the NGO sector and the communities that Islamic Relief exists to serve.
