An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen in Islamic Relief to work as the Public Affairs Coordinator in the UK Communications Department. The Public Affairs Coordinator will be responsible for raising awareness about IRUK and build relationships with key Parliamentarians to support IRUK’s work. To deliver this, the post holder will work with the External Relations and Advocacy Manager to draw up and implement IRUK’s Parliamentary Strategy. The Public Affairs Coordinator will also be the lead contact for Islamic Relief's relationship with UK Parliamentarians (excluding government Ministers and key offices), political parties and other UK influencing targets.
