We are looking to recruit a dynamic and strategically focussed Faculty Communications Officer to manage the communications output for all Faculties in line with College strategic objectives and policy. The successful candidate will also promote Faculty work and provide support, advice and guidance to all English Faculties as part of the national Faculty management team. You will work to raise significantly the profile of the RCGP at a local Faculty and regional level, by the effective use of CMS and CRM platforms, as well the effective use of a range of other media channels. You will also contribute to the development of key policy and communications activities and initiatives across the organisation.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of PR & Corporate Communications, the post holder will be required to work closely with the national PR and Corporate Communications team, Policy and Campaigns team and others, to ensure that the College’s local and regional outputs, campaigns and communications are aligned with national priorities and direction.

The successful applicant must be a strong self-starter, with excellent planning and prioritisation skills and written ability. You should be a completer-finisher and able to use your initiative to manage workload and deliver objectives. You will also have a demonstrable track record of engaging and forming proactive, productive relationships with a range of decision-makers and opinion-formers at all levels.
