About us
The Local Government Association represents local government in England and Wales. The LGA aims to set the political agenda and have a say in the national media on the issues that matter to council members.

The LGA Conservative Group, as one of the political group offices at the LGA, represents Conservative councillors, providing a strong voice within the cross-party LGA and with the Conservative Party at Westminster.

The role
The Conservative Group Office consists of a small team of four who provide wide-ranging and active support to Conservative councillors.

We:

• Arrange events, meetings and seminars for councillors across the country
• Send regular communications to Conservative councillors

In the fast paced, ever changing world of local government, we are looking for someone who has a flexible approach to work and can adapt to meet changing work requirements.

We are looking for a dynamic, self starter who can provide support both at a political and administrative level, with excellent oral and written skills.
