The local Organiser will be responsible for all aspects of Labour Party organisation within Holborn and St Pancras working towards the 2018 Local Elections and the next General Election.

The postholder will be responsible for building and maintaining party organisation and activity, establishing an effective election and campaign organisation, working with: CLP officers, our MP Keir Starmer, the Camden Labour Group led by Georgia Gould, the LCF, ward candidates, Labour councillors, Hampstead and Kilburn Constituency Labour Party (part of which is in the Borough of Camden) and with other units within the Party.

The CLP will expect the successful candidate to lead, collaborate with and support our officers, our large membership, volunteers and elected representatives; and to deliver membership engagement, campaigns and projects such as fund-raising to high standards and on time. The Organiser will be required to run a well-ordered office, training and motivating volunteers. A key part of their role will be to ensure effective communication between all sections of the local party. The Organiser will be required to work some evenings and weekends to fulfil the requirements of the post.
