Integrity UK was founded in 2014 as a unit within the International Centre for Integration & Cohesion. Our aim is to ensure that the MENA region is represented and analysed in an impartial, unbiased and nuanced manner, in order to provide the world with a clearer perspective on current affairs.

Integrity UK is recruiting for a part-time, flexible hours Social Media Intern. As this is a voluntary role there are no fixed hours or responsibilities. Nonetheless, Interns play an extremely vital role in the organisation and there will be plenty of opportunities for career and personal development. This role will be suited for someone who is forward thinking, creative and enjoys taking on responsibility.

As a Social Media Intern, some task many include but are not limited to: helping to manage Integrity UK's channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) as well as channels pertaining to Integrity UK projects; interacting and building relationships via online platforms; helping to develop social media strategies; monitoring and reporting on social media analytics; using online graphic software; and organising events. If the interns desire, there is also the opportunity to improve their written and analytic skills via blog or article writing about contemporary affairs in the Middle East. 

Essential skills:
- Proven interest in social media
- Ability to work creatively in a small team
- Desire to learn and take on new skills
- Flexible approach to work and ability to manage and juggle multiple tasks
- Good spoken and written English
- Knowledge of affairs in the Middle East (including Arabic language skills) helpful but not essential
