Role
In this role you will:
Develop, lead and execute the strategic direction of the campaign’s Welsh public affairs work by meeting with senior politicians, monitoring public policy and political developments in Wales and preparing policy briefings
Develop and deliver the public affairs element of a dedicated Welsh communications strategy in partnership with the Director, Programmes Manager and other nationally-based colleagues
Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, including roundtable discussions with partner organisations, public engagement, social media and communications and volunteers
Develop and deliver a research programme to create a robust Welsh evidence base to inform decisions and monitor progress
Represent the campaign on public platforms and in the media, acting as a spokesperson across the Welsh media
Manage, supervise and oversee the professional development of staff and volunteers.

Candidate
Ability to read, write and speak Welsh fluently
Demonstrable experience of delivering successful projects, programmes or campaigns on time and on budget
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Welsh politics, current affairs and policy making mechanisms
Strong networking skills and experience as well as proven track record of stakeholder relationship management
Ability to gather evidence, present complex issues and utilise research in public affairs and communications work.
