We are looking for someone passionate about improving children’s health care policy and practice who will successfully lead national programmes of work. The post holder will be a senior member of the Health team at the National Children’s Bureau, working with colleagues to develop and deliver a range of projects primarily relating to the integration and personalisation agenda many of which are specific to disabled children and young people.
You will be joining a fast-paced team who work closely with the Department for Education, Department of Health, NHS England the Royal Colleges and local commissioners and practitioners supporting the development and sharing of best practice, in particular around the delivery of integrated services.
The role requires strong project management skills, excellent networking, communication, and facilitation skills as well as specialist knowledge of health systems.
Candidates should be able to evidence successfully working with partner organisations and of supporting the development of best practice.
A genuine interest in the issues that face children, young people and their families in relation to health is essential.
