The Small Charities Coalition has over 8,500 members across the UK and offers valuable support through different stages in the life cycles of small charities and promotes their interests at a national level. Our Vision is that small charities (those with an annual income of less than £1 million per year) are supported, inspired, and empowered.

The Policy & Research position is funded by the Lloyds Bank Foundation. It is a part-time post (advertised salary is pro-rated) that will support our Chief Executive, and the rest of our small team, in making sure that small charities are supported, empowered and inspired. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work within a small, yet influential national membership and infrastructure charity.

Some 97% of all charities are small (that is, have annual incomes of less than £1 million p.a.). It is therefore vitally important that their voices are heard and that charity policy, legislation and regulation works for them. This role will enable the successful candidate to play a role in speaking for small charities.
