We are looking for a committed and confident Projects Coordinator (Justice).

The right candidate will be involved in our European funded projects as well as UK wide projects and Local projects. The project coordinator will manage interns and associate staff as well as coordinate volunteering opportunities and support our User Scrutiny Board. There are opportunities for travel abroad to represent the organisation at meetings and conferences. The post is offered part-time with the possibility of becoming full time dependent on funding. The Project Coordinator (Justice) will be expected to work on a number of Justice related projects. There are European Projects working with partners from around the EU; Protasis, as well as future projects with the EU. Regionally you will coordinate the research and support of a project to evaluate and scrutinise the Restore:London project, which brings Restorative Justice to the capital. Locally you will coordinate our St James Street Big Local project working with people to improve their local environment. You will also coordinate our User Scrutiny Panel (USP) supporting the young volunteers who guide our projects.

The position would suit someone with an interest in justice and a background in Restorative Justice is essential.

Benefits & Working hours:

The post is part-time (3 days per week) and offered on a two year fixed term contract. The initial salary will depend on experience and there will be a 6 month probationary period. The contract is renewable and extendable, depending on funding. Other benefits include 24 days paid annual leave, plus bank holidays and 5.5% pension upon successful completion of the probationary period (pro-rated).
