Target Ovarian Cancer is the award-winning ovarian cancer charity that works across the whole of the UK. We work to improve early diagnosis, to find new treatments, and to provide support to women with ovarian cancer. This is an opportunity for a motivated, confident and personable individual to join us on a temporary three month contract from January to March 2018 to assist with the successful delivery of a wide range of support and awareness activity including our Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month (OCAM) campaign. The role will be involved in all aspects of the Supportive Services team's work, including the prompt distribution of our vital information and publications, assisting with the administration of our face-to-face support events and being part of the first responders team within the office. There will also be an opportunity to be involved in the organisation and logistics of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ovarian Cancer. You will be reliable, hard-working and looking to gain experience either in a health charity or of more general office-based work. You will have an excellent telephone manner and be empathetic, tactful and considerate as many of our supporters you engage with will have had direct experiences of ovarian cancer.
