The Labour Party is looking to recruit a PLP Political Officer, based in the Houses of Parliament, to provide a comprehensive service for Labour Members of Parliament and Peers to support their role as legislator, advocate and representative. The post-holder will liaise with key stakeholder groups to provide timely political briefings, support the implementation of the Party’s political strategy and lead on key strategic projects.

The successful candidate should have knowledge of parliamentary procedure and current political affairs; experience of working in a political environment with competing priorities from different stakeholders, including senior politicians; excellent time management and organisation skills; and experience of working in political campaigns.
