A rare opportunity to join Vodafone’s Government Affairs team to support the delivery of the team strategy. This role will lead our response to engagement from elected politicians on local issues and to carry out research in support of our engagement on a range of policy issues.

You’ll be responsible for:
• Provide responses to several hundred items of correspondence per year, including letters and emails from constituency MPs and other elected politicians
• Attend external meetings to provide intelligence and insight to the rest of the team
• Analysing policy announcements, reports and other external context to support the team’s strategic goals

Things we would consider critical for the role:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
• Experience in Westminster or Whitehall including correspondence management and research
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trusting relationships and to convey commercial information sensitively
• Organised and self-motivated
