Based at: New Anstey House, Gate Way Drive, Yeadon, Leeds, LS19 7XY.

Are you keen to be part of creating change in a charity environment? Do you understand how to monitor and contribute to draft policy? Influencing those who legislate, commission and provide services and healthcare is a key part of our commitment to improving the lives of people with epilepsy. This role helps to deliver this objective.

With a good understanding of the need for this work, you will be able to participate in research, analysis, consultation responses and campaign development. From behind-the-scenes influencing to full-on public campaigning, you will play a role in improving all aspects of living with epilepsy.

You will need to demonstrate skills or experience in policy and campaigns work and be an excellent communicator. Being able to rapidly understand, and explain, complex policy issues, you will be involved in working with our grassroots campaign volunteers. An understanding of the UK healthcare and political systems would be helpful.

As part of a dedicated and enthusiastic team, your work will have an impact on the day-to-day lives of people living with epilepsy, bringing about concrete changes. Working on a wide range of issues, the role will keep you busy and engaged.
