Nesta’s Health Lab is looking for a dynamic and ambitious person to join our Social Health team as Assistant Programme Manager. You will join a fast-paced and high performance team in the UK’s leading innovation foundation - and have the chance to support the development and delivery of our work to identify, scale and support innovations in health.

We’re interested in how to support a population living with more long-term health conditions when the health and care system is under serious financial pressure. Our work focuses on innovations that improve health and wellbeing through building new relationships and networks - for example peer support, high impact volunteering, and social movements - and by creating new knowledge powered by digital technologies.

This is a key role in the Social Health team, working closely with Nesta colleagues and external partners to ensure delivery of an ambitious portfolio of programmes and wider team work such as publications and events.

We’re looking for someone who will bring these qualities to working with us.

What are we looking for in you?
We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has a passion for social change and a practical and positive approach that leads to action. You will have a demonstrable track record of supporting ambitious programme delivery, getting things done and achieving impact in your previous roles.

Your skills and experience will include:
● Excellent organisation, prioritisation, and time management;
● Strong collaboration and working in partnership (including with senior colleagues);
● Practical programme management skills;
● Excellent written and oral communication skills;
● Knowledge of health innovation and/or approaches to social change is desirable - and/or the ability to learn quickly.
