Job Title: Senior Operations Officer
Working For: Centre for London
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
Are you a dynamic individual with experience of operations, looking to develop your skills working within the charity or political sector?
This is a varied role at the heart of a small charity which is focused on tackling London's critical challenges. You will use your organisational skills to help create a great office environment and work closely with the team to support the delivery of events, research, and influence policymaking.
As Senior Operations Officer you will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the organisation's management - people and HR, finance, operations and governance.
Working closely with the Operations Director to develop and implement new systems, you'll become an expert in charity operations. You'll also be responsible for giving PA support to the Director and Senior Management, which will enable you to develop a detailed understanding of the role that think tanks play in influencing policy and politics.
We think this role would best suit someone who is looking to develop their skills within the charity sector, but it would also appeal to someone interested in a career in policy or government. You don't need to have experience working within a charity, think tank or in policy, but enthusiasm for the sector is essential.
You will already have some experience working in an office, and are ready to take on the responsibility of a senior role. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
We are open to part- or full-time candidates and flexible working requests for this position.
Full details of the role can be found at https://www.centreforlondon.org/vacancy/senior-operations-officer/.
If you meet the criteria in the person specification and are excited about this opportunity, we'd love to hear from you. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from individuals without the right to work in the UK.
Closing Date: 11 December 2017
Interviews expected December 13th and 14th.
Start date: ASAP.
Deadline - 9am.
To apply for this role please send a CV and cover letter showing how your experience and achievements to date would make you a suitable candidate for this role (no more than three pages total). Applications should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
