We are excited to be recruiting for a highly professional and self-motivated Policy and Public Affairs Manager with extensive experience in policy, public affairs or campaigns. You’ll be responsible for influencing the external environment to ensure we have support and are enabled to meet the needs of young people with cancer and their families. You’ll develop effective and significant relationships with key stakeholders including the young people we support, their families and high-profile influencers and decision-makers.
You’ll use your experience and knowledge to lead influencing activity at a national and regional level working with teams across the charity to effectively deliver policy and charity objectives. You’ll maintain up to date knowledge on relevant public affairs development and work closely with the Head of Policy UK to shape and implement a public affairs strategy. You’ll be skilled at multi-tasking, with excellent influencing skills and have the ability to communicate technical information to a range of audiences keeping them fully engaged.
