The post-holder will be expected to have first-class organisational and inter-personal skills and a desire to run an excellent diary. You would be joining a growing department at an exciting time, focusing on high profile and cutting edge policy of key interest to No10/HM Treasury. This means that the Minister is busy and his diary needs careful management. You will join a team of four – one Private Secretary and three Assistant Private Secretaries – to deliver the Minister’s priorities. You will be highly organised and able to quickly grasp the Minister’s style and way of working. The Minister has a very busy schedule, including regular trips overseas and across the UK. This is a high profile and demanding role at the centre of the Department.
