Public First is a consultancy that specialises in the analysis of policy and opinion, and using those insights to create proposals and campaigns for clients in the private and public sector. Our consultants have worked at the highest levels of politics, campaigns and corporate communications and our clients range from global companies to renowned think tanks and charities, to government departments.

Public First is new and rapidly growing, and we are looking for both senior and junior candidates to expand our policy and research team. We are seeking applicants who are intellectually capable, curious, and comfortable leading on and developing original policy proposals, writing research papers and performing new data analysis. As a senior Policy Advisor, you would either have experience working in policy analysis and development (for example in a think tank or for a strategy consultancy) or you would have relevant experience and be interested in making a career change (for example if you currently work as a Product Manager or data scientist).

Successful candidates should be familiar with or able to rapidly master a broad range of policy areas, from data science and automation to immigration and Industrial Strategy. You should be tech literate, able to think for yourself and as comfortable with numbers as you are writing coherently and persuasively.
