The Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose is a new Institute within The Bartlett that focuses on how public policy can be used to direct economic growth and innovation in order to tackle societal and technological challenges. The Institute is Directed by Professor Mariana Mazzucato whose research on the economics of innovation is having a critical impact on public policy world-wide. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Media and Communications Manager who will be responsible for coordination of all Institute communications activity, taking charge of overseeing and delegating the day-to-day operation of website, media, news, sponsorship, events and other more forward-facing aspects of communications for a variety of audiences.

Educated to undergraduate degree level, and with a professional marketing or communications qualification or equivalent experience, the successful candidate will have substantial experience of communications, including public relations and media, managing websites and digital/social media. The post holder will have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a brand and create impact.
