Job Details

Burson-Marsteller’s Public and Corporate Affairs (PCA) team is recruiting Interns to join our challenging and fast-paced London office.

Our internship programme is open to candidates interested in starting a career in public affairs, public relations or digital communications – or preferably all three.

The PCA team specialises in delivering communications when the stakes are highest, whether that is for big brands managing issues, international affairs clients navigating global events or advising organisations as they engage with their most critical stakeholders.

Our Interns are an extension of our team, and can find themselves very quickly at the centre of the action. Those joining us should expect to gain a thorough understanding of communications consultancy as a profession, as well as skills in media relations, digital and political engagement.

We offer three month internships as standard, although flexibility on term lengths is possible, and we are proud to pay our interns the London Living Wage. For those who excel, there may be a possibility of a permanent position.

We are looking for someone who aspires to be a communications all-rounder with:
• A genuine interest in current affairs, politics and business
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The capacity to manage competing deadlines and monitor developing situations
• Analytical thinking and research skills
• Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
