The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Labour Party election and campaign organisation within Brighton and Hove, with a specific focus on working towards the 2019 local elections.
The post holder will help develop and deliver the 2019 campaign plan; organise campaign activities; support and develop volunteers; support the development of the manifesto and undertake campaign media and communications. This will be done in collaboration with the Labour Group and Local Campaign Forum, the 2019 election candidates, local MPs, Labour Party officers, Constituency Labour Parties, branches and other units within the Party.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of campaigning techniques. They will have the ability to organise events and groups of volunteers; to utilise all communication channels including social media and to work with a wide range of people.
Please note this is a two-year fixed term contract.
