An excellent opportunity to develop your policy skills and experience. As a trainee policy officer at NCVO, you carry out policy and research on a range of issues, ensuring that our policy work is informed and evidence-based.

You will apply policy analysis and contribute to NCVO’s research, using your analytical and numeracy skills to present information clearly.

An excellent communicator, you deliver high quality customer service and engaging confidently with a range of different stakeholders and audiences, and will work closely with both internal and external partners

An effective team player, you play a key role in supporting team members with projects and events. You’ll already be someone who works well on their own initiative and who is used to planning their work effectively.

We will provide you with training together with real opportunities to work on meaningful projects.

With a trainee position, your potential is as important to us as your experience and we’re looking for someone with a clear interest in public policy and the voluntary sector.
